Hexagonia City / Bakdep – The Kuehongese government confirmed that Chairman Vu Yen Luc has made a brief stopover and made contact with a few “promiment” Tigerian officials at the Bassam International Airport. However, the officials refused to provide further details of the visit, saying that this was a “highly classified” meeting.

“The meeting was to reaffirm our relationship between Tigeria and Kuehong,” the spokesperson said. “Certain subjects related to national and international security has been discussed, and could not be revealed to the public.”

This confirmation of the meeting comes after a Kuehongese official government jet was sighted at the airport for a few moments, before it took off for its destination in Cabelia. Vu is expected to meet the Cabelian Consul this morning to discuss regional security and find key areas to bolster ties, in a memorandum made public last week.

Kuehong has established relations with Tigeria since 1976, and has remained a close partner of the neutral Tarephian country. Nevertheless, it was quite uncommon for Kuehongese officials to hold a direct meeting with Tigerian officials, and the last direct meeting between the Kuehongese Chairman and the Tigerian President was in 2004.
