Elvira – In an official statement, Sierran police confirmed they have arrested two nationals linked to the murder. The suspects have not yet been named due to the sensitivity of the case.

The police added that the arrests come as part of a raid against Kue espionage activities in the Federal States. Đỗ Sơn Thanh, a renowned critic of the Kuehong’s regime, was found dead near Lake Folsom a month ago. Through an autopsy and further investigations, the Sierran police concluded that foul play was involved and started investigations into possible suspects in the case.

The Kuehong embassy in the Federal States has not yet released an official statement regarding the case. Kuehong Chairman Le Van Kiet, however, had earlier offered his condolences to Do’s grieving family, and expressed full confidence that the “truth would come to light”. He has denied claims that the Kuehong government has any involvement in his death.

According to follow-up reports, the suspects at this stage were only being questioned, with no charges being pressed. However, the local police had raided their places of residence, according to eye-witnesses of the arrest. The housekeeper, who had rented out the house for the Kue suspects, said he had no idea of their activities and expressed willingness to fully cooperate with the authorities.
